If I cancel my subscription, what happens to my flights?
Your mobile apps like AltimeterThree will keep all of their flights — they're stored locally on your device. However, you will no longer be able to view, analyze, and share them online through FlightLab.
If you don't have your flights saved on a mobile app, you should export and save them to your hard drive before cancelling your account.
Do I have to purchase a Jolly Logic AltimeterThree to use FlightLab?
No! You can import flights from other altimeters. We support multiple file formats, and new formats are added as users suggest them.
Request a File TypeIf I delete a group, are all the flights lost?
No, groups are a handy way to share and view flights, but the flights never really leave their owners — they're just viewed by group members. When a group is deleted, all flights stay safely with their original owners.
How do I sync my flights from AltimeterThree to FlightLab?
In the AltimeterThree app, go to Settings and enable Cloud Sync. Sign in with your FlightLab account, and your flights will automatically sync to the cloud. Any new flights you record will sync automatically when you have an internet connection.
Is my flight data secure?
Yes. Your flight data is encrypted in transit and stored securely on our servers. We never share your data with third parties, and you always have full control over what you share publicly or with groups.
Can I share individual flights without creating a group?
Yes! You can generate a shareable link for any individual flight. Anyone with the link can view the flight data and charts, even if they don't have a FlightLab account.
What file formats can I import?
We currently support AltimeterThree native format, as well as common CSV formats from popular altimeters. If your altimeter's format isn't supported yet, let us know!

Yes. You can export any flight as a CSV file for use in spreadsheets or other analysis tools. We believe your data belongs to you.

Request a FeatureIs there a limit to how many flights I can store?
There is no hard limit on the number of flights you can store. Your subscription includes generous storage, and most users never come close to reaching it.
Can I compare multiple flights side by side?
Yes! FlightLab's comparison view lets you overlay multiple flights on the same chart to compare altitude profiles, velocities, and other metrics. Select the flights you want to compare and choose "Compare" from the menu.
What devices and browsers are supported?
FlightLab works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. The web app is fully responsive and works great on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
How do I delete a flight?
Open the flight you want to delete, click the menu icon, and select "Delete." Deleted flights are moved to trash and can be recovered within 30 days. After that, they are permanently removed.
Can I use FlightLab offline?
FlightLab is a web-based application and requires an internet connection. However, your AltimeterThree mobile app stores flights locally, so you can always view them on your device even without connectivity.
How do I create a group?
Go to the Groups section and click "Create Group." Give your group a name, then invite members by email. Once they accept, they'll be able to see flights shared with the group.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through our secure payment processor, Stripe.
How do I change my password?
Go to Settings in the app and select "Account." From there you can update your password, email address, and other account details.
Who can see my flights?
By default, your flights are private and only visible to you. You can choose to share individual flights via link, add them to groups, or keep them completely private. You're always in control.
